Angela Lucente

Angela Lucente (she/her) is a part-time student in the MA Italian Language and Literature Program. Her prior academic experience includes a Bachelor of Psychology (BA) from Penn State University, a Master of Public Management (MPM), with concentrations in policy analysis and management from Carnegie Mellon University, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Behavioral and Community Health Sciences, School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh. Angela maintains certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional, Health Systems Engineering and Health Program Evaluation. Her work is in health program operations, evaluation and continuous improvement and she is a Part-Time Faculty Lecturer teaching a fall evening course Project Management in Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh. 
 
Her research interests include Second Language Acquisition and Education, Post-Risorgimento Italian Literature and Culture, Propaganda, Fascism and Resistance, Translation, Gender Studies, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Climate & Migration.
